Transforming Africa

Transforming people, Transforming places

Integrating Faith and Work: A New Movement in Africa’s Marketplace

The Fellows Program is training a new generation of Workplace Instructors:

leaders equipped to bring spiritual transformation into business, education, government, and community life.

Across Africa, a quiet revolution is unfolding:
connecting faith, purpose, and profession. Marketplace Theology, championed by Dr. Gabriel Francis and Joy Bringers in partnership with the Institute for Marketplace Transformation (IMT), is redefining how believers live out their calling in everyday work.

In many parts of Africa, the church has struggled to empower the 99% of believers for ministry beyond its walls. This movement seeks to change that:

mobilizing pastors, couples, and leaders to model, mentor, and multiply emerging leaders across every sphere of society, driving lasting transformation in communities and cultures.

COLLABORATION PARTNERS

The Africa Fellows: Pioneers of Marketplace Transformation

Our inaugural group of 15 Africa Fellows represents a vibrant cross-section of society, entrepreneurs, media professionals, farmers, educators, governance experts, pastors, and other marketplace leaders.

Though diverse in background, they share one mission: to integrate their spiritual calling with their everyday work.

Each Saturday for three months, this dedicated group gathers for three-hour sessions, diving into transformative themes that challenge, inspire, and equip them to live out faith with purpose in the modern marketplace.
